Whats the Hurry???

You ever wonder why people rotate their hand in the clockwise motion when they are trying to make things go quicker? Hmmm.....does it speed things up? I am not thinking so....so I watch these people come through my line all the time that do that....as if 10 seconds is an eternity...they rotate their wrists and hands in the clockwise motion to make it look like it is the machine that is holding up the line instead of themselves....hmmmm....isn't there something in the DSM-IV about that? :)

Never noticed that before. I'll have to keep a closer eye out.

Its impatients! It isn't only conducive to the checkstand. When you are in the car at the stop light, people inch forward waiting for the light to turn green...But the checkstand is where I stand all the time...and yes I tell you the little things that I see...intrigue my mind as to why do they do that??? Its like telling me the reason they want paper or plastic...ahhhh the oddities of human kind! :)

I've never seen anyone turn their wrists in the checkstand. Atleast it's not that obvious to me?
